Sun Wukong, also known as the Monkey King, is a fictional character in Chinese literature. He is described as being incredibly fast, and is said to be able to travel 108,000 li in a single somersault. One li is approximately 500 meters, so this would mean that he can travel over 50,000 kilometers in a single jump. Additionally, he is said to be able to move so quickly that he can create afterimages or leave behind a trail of smoke. In some versions of the story, he is also able to transform into a fly or a bird to travel even faster. Overall, Sun Wukong is considered one of the fastest mythical figures in Chinese literature and continues to be a popular character in modern culture.
